Founded as a private institute in 2009 in Janjgir. It is a private institute run by the Dhansai Bharatlal Memorial Education Society.

DBM ITI is approved by N.C.V.T, (DGET) New Delhi, and ministry of labour government of India.
At DBM ITI learning and knowledge acquisition is an amalgam of the traditional and modern, following the vedic precepts, the education system aims at development of mind, body and spirit.

The primary function of this Institute is to train young boys/ girls in various vocational trades approved by NCVT. The Institute is coming up with all workshop and other infrastructural facilities for carrying out the various training programs to meet the current development in the field of vocational training.
